Ant Farm Entry (Day 7): Ah! Disaster has struck! Tom's body parts/limbs are scattered all over the farm!
From what I can tell, the ants have begun construction on another, larger tunnel. The tunnel is wide, and plummets deep in the goo. An Tom's body parts are lodged throughout it. Construction has ceased. Tom's body (or the majority of it) is squirming at the surface, and he is being tended to by Ebenezer. Tom's mid-section is near the surface, I can make out two of his legs in the tunnel, and at the very base of the tunnel... Tom's head...
Now, I'm still learning how ants work, but my best guess is that while digging, Tom was too foolhardy, lodged himself between the goo and the wall, and literally ripped his arms off. And his head. And some how made it back to the surface with no head? Or maybe Carlos his carcass back up? Man, it's messed up.
Either way, the ants, as a unit/family/friend group, seem resilient.
